Welcome back from the Holiday weekend. Hope you had fun. Now, PAY ATTENTION! It is PRIMARY ELECTION DAY in Texas.

Early vote has ended and today is your last chance to pick those who will represent Texas in 2013 and beyond. As a reminder, many of the races do not have partisan opposition so these leaders will be selected today.

As was obvious by Early Vote, many people have chosen not to engage in the selection of partisan nominees this year and that means so many of you are eligible to vote today.

So, do it! Do not default on democracy. Find the time and cast your ballot.
