Eleven years ago today, I embarked upon the greatest adventure of my life – Parenthood! That’s right, it’s the kid’s birthday today.

That one moment in time turned my life completely upside down. I thought getting married at 40 was a big transition but it was nothing compared to becoming a Mother.

What a roller coaster ride we have been on since that day. Life is always an adventure when you’re a parent. I have never laughed so hard, screamed so loud and been so terrified in my life – i.e. the roller coaster analogy.

And yet, every precious moment of the ride is priceless and filled with the greatest joy.

So, Happy Birthday to my son! Thanks for being you and bringing joy to my life every single day!
