The Federal government is on the verge of shutting down! Will they or won’t they?

The State of Texas is close to causing thousands of teachers to lose their jobs while throwing the elderly out of nursing homes.

Seriously, the Federal government may shut down if Congress cannot overcome their deep partisan divide and agree on a budget.

The Texas budget is in hot debate.

The City of Houston is voting today on Rebuild Houston, a new fee approved by voters, to finance flooding and drainage improvements as there is certainly no money in existing budgets to solve the problems.

Also, today the City of Houston lays out their first redistricting maps with the two new additional Council Districts for public view, debate and discussion.
